Fragen zu diesem Objekt?

The Hammer Chair, model 3103, is one of Arne Jacobsen’s less commonly encountered designs and embodies the elegant lightness of postwar Danish design. With its organically shaped seat shell and distinctive, slightly splayed legs, the design combines functional clarity with a sculptural presence.

Arne Jacobsen is one of the most influential designers of the 20th century. His furniture designs have had a lasting impact on the image of Scandinavian modernism and are still regarded as a benchmark for timeless design. While models such as the Ant and Series 7 achieved worldwide fame, the Hammer Chair is especially prized for its balanced proportions and comparatively limited availability.

The gently curved shell provides excellent seating comfort and gives the chairs their distinctive silhouette. At the same time, they appear light and elegant and can be used both at the dining table and as standalone pieces in the living area.
