This extraordinary pendant lamp from Mazzega's iconic Ragnatela series dates back to the 1960s and is a prime example of the experimental Murano glass art of that era, which was often created in collaboration with designers such as Carlo Nason.
The numerous hand-shaped glass elements display the characteristic net-like structure that gives the series its name. Each element is individually crafted, creating a vibrant, organic overall effect. Gold-colored inclusions are incorporated into the glass, producing a warm, shimmering light when the lamp is switched on and lending it a special depth.
The gilded metal structure underlines the luxurious character of this large-format light object and forms an elegant contrast to the structured Murano glass.
A sculptural statement piece that impressively combines Italian design, craftsmanship and atmospheric lighting.
